What Should Have Been

It upsets me when a person feels the need to end what could have been a beautiful story. They felt so out of place, the characters in their book didn’t agree with them and when they so desperately tried to rewrite the story, it somehow came back to that same chapter. No one took time to actually read the story only judging the book by its cover. The book looked bruised and ratted but in the inside were the most original, tragic and beautiful words, stories and tales. But no one took the time to read and decipher all the hiding codes. So instead the author gave up and decided to stop writing. Decided it was a waste of time because no one appreciated that book. After the story is over, people rush and try to read it, thinking of the what ifs and what could have been. Trying to rewrite and create a different ending but it’s already to late because the thoughts have long left the authors mind. Understand me, I’m not upset with the author but with the critics and bystanders who decided it was a horrible story or it wasn’t worth their time. Because now they’ll never know the ending of the story and how beautiful it could have been.
